FAQ's  -  Tournament Teams

  • Where do I purchase a uniform?
You are able to purchase a uniform on the square website. When you go on the website please select a top and bottom size and indicate three numbers you would be satisfied with having as your uniform number. Click here for the Merchandise Site. 
  • What color socks do we wear?
We wear white socks or slips with our white uniform tops and navy blue socks or slips with our navy blue uniform tops. If you need a pair please click the link above on the previous question and you can purchase them on our merchandise site. 
  • How can my daughter get a player profile?
We create player profiles for our elite travel team players at the U14, U16 and U19 level. We take headshots every Fall and create a player profile once your daughter is attending elite tournaments.  
  • How can I update my daughter's player profile?
Please email Tina a list of updates to change your daughter's player profile.
  • Where can I get a US field hockey membership?
Go to USFHA and sign up for a USFHA membership. Please make sure to sign up for a U-19 membership unless your daughter is a U-12 so you do not have to purchase another membership in the future.  While signing up, be sure to affiliate with Texas Pride. Link to the USFHA page here.
  • I have a USFHA membership, but I am not sure how to affiliate with Texas Pride?
Log in to your USFHA accounts, Click on "Member Area" on the left side tab, then click on "Change Club Affiliation". Scroll down and click on Texas Pride to affiliate. Link to the USFHA page here. 
  • Do I need to a book a hotel room for my player?
Unless indicated otherwise on the webpage, your daughter will be staying in a hotel room with other players booked by me. Parents are welcome to join, however you must book your own hotel room. 
  • What flight should I book her on?
I will put up flight information for each tournament under the specific tournament tab. There will be one or two flights listed. If none of the flights listed work for you or your daughter, please make sure to book a flight that gets in and leaves around the same time as the ones I have listed. 
  • Have I registered my daughter for the tournament? How can I check?
Log into your RegPoint account, and this is where you register for all Texas Pride camps, tournaments, and practices. The link to the RegPoint page is here. 
  • Where and when is practice?
Practice for the tournaments are listed under each Fall League tab for the specific age group of your daughter.
  • I took photos from the tournament where can I post them?
There is a Shutterfly website under resources where all of the pictures go. The link to the photo page is here. 
  • Do I need to go with my daughter to the tournament?
No, you do not need to go with your daughter to any tournament but you are more than welcome to join us and .
  • What should my daughter pack?
Every tournament I send out a packing list to ensure that each player has what she needs for the tournament. Most important though, make sure they have their uniform and field hockey gear :).
